7 months and talking

Kynnedy, at 7 months you really starting showing your personality and your voice. You started talking, saying "da da da", over and over! Your "dada" is on cloud nine when he hears it. You are learning how to make different noises and move your mouth in funny ways to make them. You like to scream just to hear yourself scream, and you and mommy have screaming contests to see who can be the loudest. You think it's pretty funny.

You love your dogs. When they walk by you, you grab their ears. Roxy will usually sit and let you pet her, she will be your loyal companion.

Nightimes were a bit rough after you turned 6 months. You go to sleep between 9-10pm. Then you'll wake up anytime between 4.30-6.30am, and almost inconsolable. I guess you are just growing, but it's not like you! You seem to be back on track now.

You want nothing to do with baby food. We've tried feeding it to you since about 4 months, but you won't have it. When we are able to get food in your mouth, you gag and act like we've fed you poison! I guess you'll discover food soon enough but for now you'll stick to the bottle.

You'll be staying the night with Grandee and Grandaddy while Mommy and Daddy go on vacation for a few days. We will miss you so much but you'll have a great time without us I'm sure.

Happy 7 months sweet angel! Can't believe it's been over half a year since we met you!

6 months=Unbelievable (Part 2)

Love this girl more and more with each day.

She is my little angel. Watching her right now in her daddy's lap, drool running down her chin, talking to to things she sees around the room. She is unbelievable. She is learning so much right now, she stares at toys and grabs for things all the time. She even knocked over my glass of tea tonight, right onto my iPhone and me. That was nice.

I love hearing her talk. She is finding her voice and making it known. When she speaks, she speaks right to my heart and I know exactly what she is saying. I know we have a connection, she knows that I know what she means.

She wakes up in the morning with a smile on her face, ready for a new day, usually between 7-8am. She tuckers out between 9-10pm. She doesn't like being tired, but she gives in pretty quickly.

She loves the nursery at church and everyone in it, and chooses not to sleep at all, too much to see and do.

She can roll over back to tummy and back again. She can get up on her hands really well, can't seem to get the legs up yet.

She loves her 2 Wubba Nubs (pink horse and Clifford dog) and her Mudpie horse with taggie mane.

She snuggles up with her fuzzy blankets and they help her fall asleep more quickly.

She and cousin Hudson are learning to play together. They steal each others toys and smile about it.

She loves her grandparents very much. They make her laugh and she greets them with big smiles.

She's still trying to get the hang of eating with a spoon, just not interested yet.

She likes trying to sit up from an inclined position and is getting stronger. She sits up pretty well, but still a bit wobbly.

She loves to stop in the hallway and look into the mirror. She looks from herself to me and tries to touch the girl in the mirror. She smiles and giggles and loves to look at herself.

She is a precious gift and a blessing beyond belief.
